Richard Hage born in Austin, Texas and raised in the Hill country of Spicewood, Texas. He started working at the early age of 14 in his grandfather’s thrift shop who was his mentor in Entrepreneurship and business. He worked in the grocery industry for 10 years as various managers and sales positions before buying his first business a small grocery distribution company. In three, years he grew the business by 4x and sold it in 2015. He moved to AFLAC as a sales rep and quickly moved into a trainer role then into a district sales manager position.

 

After learning the insurance business, He desired greater thing’s and started Cedar Oak Insurance Group with his two partners to build a better and more helpful company based on education and customer service. When he’s not helping or educating customers, he enjoy time with his two children and wife Melissa with outdoor activities, kid’s sports, golf, and travel.
